Welcome to 'Tis the Season Spectacular!

 

The 'Tis the Season Spectacular is a community event open to the public. This year's parade will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The holiday parade will follow the route of main street in Salisbury's historic downtown. The parade will begin at 3 p.m., presenting musical acts, floats and more.

The parade festivities will continue at Bell Tower Green with the community tree lighting, street performers, food/beer trucks, and of course - Santa! This year's main band will be announced soon!

The community is invited to participate and enjoy the parade by filling the sidewalks and our new Bell Tower Green park as we celebrate the beginning of another beautiful holiday season in Rowan County.

Parade Participant Information

'Tis the Season Spectacular parade is open to entries from all belief systems and welcomes a diversity of ideas that portrays the goodwill associated with the holiday season. Participants are expected to provide appropriate family entertainment without promoting special interests.

'Tis the Season Spectacular will not consider incomplete applications and reserves the right to make all entry determinations based on the following:

  • reflects the intents and purposes of the stated Mission and Entry Statements
  • adheres to the stated rules/regulations
  • presents an attractive holiday theme appearance
  • adds to the parade’s overall entertainment value
  • promotes a family-friendly message


Participation in the parade requires approval by the “Tis the Season Spectacular” committee

Please make checks payable to Rowan County Tourism Development Authority. The Rowan County Tourism Development Authority is a North Carolina Public Authority and unit of Local Government.
